2 ^ (x + 5) = 2 ^ (x + 3) + 6
=>2 ^ (x + 5)-2 ^ (x + 3)=6
=>2^(x+3){(2^2)-1}=6
=>2^(x+3)=6/3=2
equating the powers on both sides,
x+3=1
=>x=-2
hence, E
