Guys,
I was wondering whether Powerprep (managed by ETS,the old company) and Gmatprep (managed by Pearson VUE) use the same algorithm to calculate the GMAT score as well as use the same pattern to include 'optional/sample' questions in Math and Verbal sections(optional/sample questions are the ones which don't count towards your score).
Thanks in advance!

I am not sure about the scoring algorithm but I can definitely tell u that GMAT prep is going to be a more closer indicator of your GDay score than powerprep.
My suggestion would be do power prep for extra practice questions once u have exhausted all GMAT prep questions. I have read posts where u could delete the current installation by uninstalling the S/W / deleting from your C:\ and then do a resinstall. You may see repeat questions but u will also see some new questions.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
