I have been dealing with manhattan gmat and scoring over 40 in their math exams and dropped from a 41 verbal to a 36.
I took the powerprep exam today and got a 600. This is not enough and not at all representative of my capabilities. Instead of just doing another exam, I want to know where and how I can fix this in the most efficient way. I have been scoring around 85% hit rate on og and dont understand how the scores can drop. I have been studying very hard and have a good handle on the exam. I seriously am questioning th evalidity of the latest gmatprep cat! THe problem is somewhere that I cannot see. Can anyone help?
I do understand the swing in scores from manhattan gmat but there is a steady decrease in scores. I noticed that in verbal I got 31/41 correct and was never able to really break into the harder questions. However, I do remember them being a bit familiar.
To add more spice to this whole situation. In review of this latest GMATPREP CAT, atleast half of the mistakes were only 1 step from correct. In other words, these wrong answers could have been easily avoided. In the meantime, I will go over all mistakes even though they arent midn boggling and get ready for a mgmat cat exam this time!
