If the units digit of the three-digit positive integer k is nonzero, what is the tens digit of k?
(1) The tens digit of k + 9 is 3.
(2) The tens digit of k + 4 is 2.

IMO-C...how is A alone sufficient?

A alone is sufficient

It is mentioned that the units digit is non zero so it must be 1,2,....9.

Stmt 1:
Sufficient .. Tens digit change if 9 is added 1+9,2+9..and so on.

Stmt 2:

Not Sufficient... Tens digit may or may not change is 9 is added, thus leaving the question open for attack.
