There is a typo in this question.

The question is (2^(x+y)^2)/(2^(x-y)^2) and the answer is 16.

The question has been discussed before. Make a search to find it.

Yeah! I do remember something like that but strange to know that GMAC software also contains mistakes.

I dont know if there is something wrong with software. Considering the standards of GMAC, I seriously doubt that they would make such a mistake.

PS: I am not able to solve the question. If you have made no mistake in copy and paste, I think this question can be solved.
