Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I just recently decided to go to Bschool so I need to take the gmat at some point to get in. I'm not in the biggest rush to take it but I'd like to take it sooner than later. I really don't need that great of a score for the school that I would like to attend. Only a 600+. I figured if i'm doing this thing I might as well do it correctly. I really liked Eric, Ursula, and the others mentality of attacking this as a game to be beat. My goal is to take the test only once (even though the school I'm applying to takes my top score).
Here's my study plan so far. Thanks guys!
I'm in the same position as you. Currently I am just researching information to create a structured plan to attack the GMAT studying. I read thru a lot of Eric's blog and ammassed some information so far. I started my own blog to just write out my ideas and plan if you want to see what I'm doing. So far I'm keeping it simple by
1) reading the PR book just to familiarize myself with the test in general
2) take 1 simulated practice test a week
3) Crack open OG 11 and take my time day by day to answer the questions and really go over the answers in detail to figure out the logic behind it (use the excel tables to really analyze my weaknesses)
4) Create flashcards as I go in addition to Eric's Flash cards.. keep them near the pooper and review them whenever I can haha
5) Blog about my thoughts and revelations.
6) Actively participate in the forums to surround myself with those who are in my position who can either be helped or help me out
I literally started 2 days ago but here's my blog

I figure I'd just take it one step at a time and if I feel like I still need more help after OG11 I will go onto the next book that helps me in my area of weakness.
Hope this helps Good luck!!
