Hi All
I have few doubts about demonstrative pronoun:
I am going through GMAT prep now videos which I absolutely love
After doing demonstrative pronoun I have this query that can we not use demonstrative pronouns to replace nouns. Are they only used to refer to a new copy of antecedent not the original one
Eg: she took her laptop and her books with her on the air plane because she thought she could use these to get some work done.
Here these is wrong and them should be used.
Can someone explain why and also the demonstrative pronoun not replacing actual antecedent part.
Regards
Karishma
