hello all,

I have been preparing for gmat for couple of months now and I am taking gmat in 1 month now.
I have been consistently scoring 47 in quant, I need to increase the score but I am not able to do so.

Guys, please suggest any good source of gmat Quant questions for practice...I have only 3 weeks.

improvement from a consistent 47 ...hmmm...Do you know that exam is for 51 maximum..
You are doing super good and you are in a position to suggest than to take one.

Jokes apart.. I believe nothing other than concentration can help you change your score..
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
Second take: coming soon..

Thanks for reply man :)

I took GMAT last time and scored 660(Q47,V34)

So if I boost even two points each side, I can gracefully get 700...

So those two points in Quant are very important....

I analysed my weeknesss, its nothing but some devastating silly mistakes and time pressure. Hence I need some gmat question source which I can practice..I some what know about OG-12/Og Quant difficult question, thats why looking for some other source...

Please please suggest..

Ah..now I got it .. you need to practice Data suff problems..
Silly mistakes can happen only there..
lack of concept will hurt PS section.

is ur 47 or gmat prep tests or others? i think u need to look at tht too.
in PS especially word prbs, careful reading is necessary. if u r an engineer by profession, take few seconds to actually understand wht the questions is asking,(normally i have the tendency to note dwn the given info while reading the question -well this is wht i was taught all thru, this doesnt work in gmat). subtle changes can boost your score whn u r already scoring well.
these things are easier said then done, im struggling myself with al these. but it doesnt hurt, does it? :D

i cant suggest any sources though, not sure.

You're really close! It sounds like you've reviewed your incorrect answers thoroughly; have you taken the Powerpreps? You might find Grockit helpful. Not to get too sales-y :-), but we do offer a really large question bank with questions tagged by difficulty level and concept-tested, so you can mix and match and focus only on the areas you'd like to master. Plus it's all online, at your fingertips. You can create a free account to sample.

You might peruse the tougher challenge questions on BTG: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/category ... ufficiency

They are organized by skill tag now, which is handy!

Rohu: I have scored 47 in gmatprep as well as mgmat..Your suggestion are
absolutely right but I need more questions to practice..
please suggest me a source if u have.

HPSA: I took actuall GMAT couple of months back and scored 660..dont know how
much mistakes i did in verbal..i guess 12-15..

VivianKerr : thanks for the source, i practiced grockpit earlier and it is
really a wonderful stuff but i have figured out that i do silly mistakes
So I need some bunch of question to get rid of this silly mistakes issue.

In terms of silly mistakes, I think you need to focus more on process and not rush. Practice without the pressure of a timer for awhile. See if that corrects the issue.
