More so than!

by gmat_perfect » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:40 am
I hate to be THAT person, but it's true that my grandfather and his sister ate bacon darn near every day and lived into their 90's. In fact, my grandfather eschewed all meats other than bacon and ham. I can't help but think that our lack of physical activity plays a part in this study, more so than the processed meats.

Experts, please help explain what does the "more so than" refer?

For them performance and exteriority are central to their self-presentation, far more so than any lyrical message.

The silence is deafening
I'm really old, but I'll never be too old to become more educated.

" I can't help but think that our lack of physical activity plays a part in this study, more so than the processed meats."

This means that lack of physical activity had a greater impact on the outcome than did their eating processed meats.
