Got in to Schulich Part time - starting Summer / 12.
My application had to go to a committee because my GPA (I'm in the C+ range), and my degree (3 year undergrad instead of 4) so I was not able to be admitted by the director of admissions.
I suppose they take a vote, in my case, I got a favourable response.
Me:
30 years old
BA - Poli Sci - C+ average (upward trend, I really took it easy in my undergrad)
8 years of work experience, insurance and risk management
GMAT: 710
I guess the admissions decision still has to be ratified by the Senate, but I gather that they rarely reject the committee decisions.
Moral of the story - don't be deterred if you don't necessarily meet all of the criteria. in my case, I suppose the strong GMAT and work experience worked in my favour.
Cheers
