Let, SP = 100

Increased SP = 110

ie. 10 = 30% of profit with previous SP

i.e. Profit = 100/3

i.e. Cost Price = 100 - 100/3 = 200/3

Actual Profit% = (100/3)*1100 / (200/3) = 50%

Answer: option E

BAD LANGUAGE OF QUESTION because options should have been in %age
