algebraic fraction practice question

If 2 + (2/y) = 3 - (3/y), then y =
(A) 1/5
(B) 1/3
(C) 1/2
(D) 3
(E) 5

Is it the best way to substitute the numbers to find the ans? any other easy way ?

Take all Y terms to one side and rest to another side,

2/y + 3/Y = 3-2

5/y =1 (on LHS add the numerator, since denominator is same for both the fractions)
So y =5

OA is E
