Due to a manufacturing defect, each copy of a 300-page book is missing exactly one page, though each copy is not missing the same page. If the text of the book is only 288 pages (the other 12 are blank), what is the probability that any single copy is missing a page of text.

A)1/30
B)1/25
C)11/12
D)14/15
E)24/25

There are 300 total possibilities. 288 of them have text.

Thus, the probability of the missing page having text is 288/300, which reduces to 24/25.
