In the rectangular coordinate system, if line A is parallel to one of the axes, does line A contain the point (4, 5) ?
(1) Line contains the point (4, -5).
(2) Line crosses the x-axis
OA is C
However IMO E
because from st1: we dont know whether the line is parallel to x or to Y
from St2: we cant say the point.
combining it mentioned that the line is parallel to Y axis but that doesnot mean that the line is extended until (4,5).The length of the line might finish at (4,3)or (4,4) etc.
therefore I think it is E.
