I have some problems to define (2) for sure. Can you help me ?
i go with A

statement 1 X/Y<0

if X<0 for the above equation to hold hold Y has to be >0

hence sufficient


statement 2. Y-X >0

if X< 0 assume it 2 b -4

and y = -1

the it will 3 which is >0

if Y = 3 and X -1 then it will be 4 >0

hence insufficient..
