I think I managed to answer my own question.
A: insuff since it only gives us the total along with percentages that apply to subgroups of the total where the split is unknown
B: suff as per the below
M = Male
F = Female
M+F = Total Senior Class
0.75 (M+F) = 0.72M + 0.8F
0.75M + 0.75F = 0.72M + 0.8F
0.03M = 0.05F
M/F = 3/5
M = 3/8
