Statement 1: Area of the circle is 24pi.
Hence, radius of the circle is = (24pi)/(2pi) = 12
But there is no information about the length of the sides of the triangle.

Not sufficient

Statement 2: The triangle is a right-angled triangle.
Hence, the longest side of the triangle must be the diameter of the circle. But we have no information about the diameter of the circle.

Not sufficient

1 & 2 Together: Length of the longest side of the triangle = Length of the diameter of the circle = 2*length of the radius of the circle = 2*12 = 24

Sufficient

The correct answer is C.
