A certain bank charges a certain maintenance fee on standard checking account each month if the balance falls below $1000 at any time during the month. Did the bank charge a maintenance fee on Sue's standard checking account last month?

(1) At the beginning of last month, Sue's account balance was $1500.
(2) During last month, a total of $2000 was withdrawn from Sue's checking account.

OA is E

I had marked C.

1. You know how much money she has in the beginning.
It is 1500 which is > 1000. So, there is no charge.
But how during the month any time if falls below 1000 then maintenance fees will be charged.

Not Sufficient.

2. After withdrawal of 2000 we dont know the balance in her account.

Not Sufficient.

Combine both,

1500 initial
2000 withdrawal during the month...

In that month there is no mention of any other transaction to that account. There might be some deposits. This thing is completely vague in the question.

So Not Sufficient.

its also possible to withdraw the 2,000 before the beginning of last month and have a balance of 1,500 just after..
