2) If y is 10, x could equal 25, or if y is 17 x would equal 18 Not sufficient


Using Y as a constraint possible here are potential values for x

Y X (if x+y = 35) X (if x+y = 70)

10 25 60
17 18 53
24 11 46

X could equal 11 or 46, the answer is E.
