Types of problems / concepts NOT to study

Do we have to study the following concepts ?

1) Number Bases (binary, octal etc.)
2) Solids like Pyramids, spheres etc.

i didn't see those concepts anywhere in the MGMAT books so I'm pretty sure they are not to be studied.
