Named Top 40 Under 40 business professional, 2007

I know my weaknesses are my GPA and GMAT, but I have quite a bit of leadership experience that isn't listed.

My top 8 schools are:

Darden, WashU, Texas, UNC, NYU, Yale and Columbia

Thoughts? Chances? Recommendations?

Hi cdkcurtis,

You are correct that your GPA and GMAT are your biggest concerns, it sounds like you do have great work experience and leadership. Student body president is great. Do you have any extracurriculars post college also? I would suggest retaking the GMAT again if you can, that may be helpful.

I think your school list has some completely reasonable schools - WashU, Texas and UNC for instance. I always advise applying to a mix of schools, which you definitely are, so that's great.
