Three workers A, B, and C are hired for 4 days. The daily wages of the three workers are as follows:
A's first day wage is $4.
Each day, his wage increases by 2 dollars.
B's first day wage is $3.
Each day, his wage increases by 2 dollars.
C's first day wage is $1.
Each day, his wage increases by the prime numbers 2, 3, and 5 in that order.
Which one of the following is true about the wages earned by A, B, and C in the first 4 days?
(A) A > B > C
(B) C > B > A
(C) A > C > B
(D) B > A > C
(E) C > A > B

A's first day wages are $4.
So his second, third and fourth day wages are $6, $8, $10.
So his total wages is $(4+6+8+10) = $28.
Similarly B's first, second, third and fourth day's wages are respectively $3, $5, $7 and $9 respectively.
So his total wages is $(3+5+7+9) = $24.
Also C's first, second, third and fourth day's wages are respectively $1, $(1+2) or $3, $(3+3) or $6 and $(6+5) or $11.
So his total wages are $(1+3+6+11) or $21.

Since 28 > 24 > 21, we have A > B > C.

The correct answer is hence (A).

A's =$(4+6+8+10)=28$
