(i) 41 representatives has to be the largest number a country has sent. Otherwise, the number of representatives sent form country A would be larger than 41, and that would exceed 75.

Case (a): Country A sends 11 representatives. Then 41 + 11 + x = 75. x = 23.
Distribute those 23 representatives amongst the other 4 countries (6 + 6 + 6 + 5).

Case (b) Country A sends 9 representatives. then 41 + 9 + x = 75. x = 25. Distribute those 25 amongst the other 4 countries(6 + 6 + 6 + 7)

(ii) Apply the same cases from (i). (ii) is insufficient.

Apply the same cases to (i) together with (ii) and this is also insufficient. The correct answer is E.
