Focus on the triangle ACO & use the following property:
Extrenal Angle = sum of the other two angles

External Angle COD = Angle OAC + Angle ACO

& Angle BAO = Angle OAC

Thus using both of the statements, you can get that desired angle is 20 (= 60 - 40) degrees.

Hence answer is D
