Share...with carries the meaning of sharing what you have with someone else , not that the two of you share the same thing together. Again, grammatically correct, just the wrong meaning: it's not that the southerners share their heritage with the northerners (i.e "give" them some of their heritage, like sharing bread), but rather that the two groups share the same heritage.
this is incorrect.

for almost a million counterexamples, type "share a * heritage with" into google (including the quote marks / inverted commas, and the asterisk), and watch what comes out.

the correct explanation is given in my post above, again with the caveat that gmat aspirants don't actually have to care about it. but, yeah

The idiom share with does not convey the intended meaning of the sentence. To share X with Y means to give a portion of X to Y (John shared his sandwich with Kim) or to tell X to Y (John shared his story with Kim). The residents of the Southeast are not performing either of these actions.
Eliminate B.
this is also very much incorrect; the usage of "share" to mean "have X in common with Y" is extremely commonplace. that's not the issue in this problem; i've explained the actual issue here:

just for extra evidence, since two moderators have so far been wrong about the meaning of this idiom, check out diagnostic question #38 in OG11/OG12:

The results of two recent unrelated studies support the idea that dolphins may share certain cognitive abilities with humans and great apes;

... um, yeah. jeez, people
this does not mean that dolphins are giving humans a portion of their cognitive activities, nor does it mean that they are telling us about them.

see the link above for the correct explanation (which is not something the gmat will probably ever test).
