Prep Course vs. Self-Study???

by iggy614 » Fri Jul 17, 2009 4:15 pm
Hi,

I am thinking about taking a prep course but am not sure this is the best route to go about studying for the exam.

If you had the choice would you take a prep course or self-study?

Also, lets ignore time and money since luckily I do have the luxury of both (I cannot start working for another 3 months and do have extra money to pay for a prep course).

Also, let’s assume that I am a well driven individual who doesn't necessarily need to be "pushed" by a tutor.

Any advice...

prep course

I would take a prep course if you need help staying on task. It's also nice to ask questions and get an immediate individual response.

If you are pretty self sufficient, I would just buy the Manhattan GMAT book series.

Good luck - studying sucks :)
