Improve from 650~ to 750

My GmatPREP results are as follows:

Test # 1
Quantitative 44
Verbal 39
Total 680

Test # 2
Quantitative 47
Verbal 41
Total 720

What material do you think I should be focusing on if I want to improve my score from this range? I want to aim for around 750 so I have better chances of getting 700+. So far I have been using Kaplan GMAT 800, Kaplan Verbal Workbook and OG Verbal Review. Should I get OG Quantitative Review?

I want something that is as close as possible to the real thing. I know that must be OG but I read somewhere that the OG Math Review isn't the best option if you're aiming for a very high score.

I too thought that the OG quant review was a bit basic and therefore did not use it in my prep. However, you could try working on the last questions from the book, although I'm not sure it's worth the money.

I say that your scores are in the 700 range and all you should do now is focus on your weaknesses to boost your score.

If you really want to work hard quant questions, I suggest you browse the forum. Usually you get pretty tough questions around here, since people will often post the hardest questions they find.

I'm not sure if Kaplan is your best bet for strategies regarding verbal. Their SC section was OK, but their CR/RC parts still need some polishing, especially in the practice questions.

DanaJ is right. Shore up ur weaknesses to prevent you from getting easier/mid-level questions wrong (this is worse for your score than getting hard questions wrong).

You may want to consider re-taking GMAT Prep 1 if you want to see hard questions. If you are scoring 44-47 in quant, then a retake will definitely give you very difficult questions. Of course, ignore the score coz it will be inflated by repeated questions. Still, I think it is worth it.

DanaJ, that is precisely what I have been doing so far. I found a couple of lists of 99 700+ questions and I did them all. Honestly, I got quite a few wrong and couldn't do a bunch but it helped me identify the mistakes that I usually make. For e.g., ignoring a small piece of very crucial information (careless mistake) or getting lost in the maze and not remembering to assess each statement separately!

I took the GMATPrep test again as well and my weakness so far is definitely hard number properties/integers/factors.
