Score reports again

by Number7 » Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:58 am
Dear all,

two quick questions:

1. Do I really have to remember the codes for the five schools I want GMAC to send the scores to on the day of the test? Is there no list or anything like that the testtakers can chose from?

2. As the schools receive every result from the testtaker (within the last five years): Is there any reasons why someone should not want to fill in the five school names? Even IF he or she scores bad, the schools will get to know it if he or she tries again. Or is there anything I did not consider?

Thank you for your help!

I just took the GMAT and I didn't need to remember the school codes. They have a program that allows you to search for schools before you take the GMAT. I found all my schools and the programs I was applying for.

I'm not sure how to answer your second question. I would report my scores anyway because if I remember correctly, you are given the option to send or not send BEFORE you view your scores. So you never know how you did. I thought I got around a 550 but ended up with a 610. So I'm glad I sent my scores.
