Recently I came across a document on a popular document sharing site "RC QUESTIONS GMAT(1995-2000).pdf"
I see a document with over 130 passages and on very first glance(with name and number of pages) impressive.

Further reading I find out..that
1/ There are 130 passages no doubt but there are no explanations of answers
2/ The questions are very very easy compared to contemporary tests. Infact many questions did not seem to be related.
3/ Each passage had around 9-13 questions,(which improves the overall average speed per question)

well..till now i have talked about all negatives about this Original set. But to look at the positive side.
This document does have passages which are somewhat similar to the current passages,Maybe one might find them easier, But for International students who are just starting off practicing and have 3-6 months on hand(who for sure have come to know from the first diagnostic test that they are not doing well on RC), can start of from this document. Because the topics like 'Medieval American History' are at times boring and the more you read...the more you get accustomed to such language. Timed reading of such stuff would be good...Also one more thing...Believe me if you have read through an RC passage, say in OG and if it is repeated in a test, the results are very very skewed. So good practice material should be kept for later. Only when one starts getting 100% on these passages one should graduate to proper RCs from OG and other materials.

It is great. yes, we do need a lot of new passages to practice. Rereading old passage is meaningless.

However, I have an idea. I see that history passages appear fairly frequent in GMAT test but there are not many history passages in most resource. I wish to find more new history passages or gmat like history articles.

do you know any resource for the history passages?, please, help
