CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON TIMING THE QUANT ... WHEN I ANSWER QUESTIONS ON MY OWN TIME.. I GET 80-85% RIGHT.. BUT ON THE GMAT TESTS I GOT A 550 (1ST ATTEMPT) , 570 ( 2ND ATTEMPT) AND NOW i AM GOING TO TAKE A THIRD ATTEMPT IN DECEMEBER.

USUALLY I CAN ONLY GET TO 25 QUESTIONS IN QUANT.

I BOUGHT THE MGMGAT BOOKS , SOLVED AND ALSO TOOK 2 MGMAT TESTS , GOT A 590 ON THE 1ST AND 500 ON THE SECOND.

I AM NEW OVER HERE AND I NEED TO KNOW WHEN TO PULL THE PLUG AS YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN URE PREVIOUS POSTS THAT WE NEED TO PULL THE PLUG 3 TIMES IN A TEST..

I TOOK KAPLANS LAST YEAR AND DID THEIR 9 TESTS AND ONLINE CONTENT AND ALSO SOLVED ALL THE THREE GMAT BOOKS, PLUS 5 MGMAT BOOKS.... I HAVE GIVEN A LOT OF TIME INTO THIS AND I NEED ATLEAST A 700 ... SO I NEED A HUNDRED POINT IMPROVEMENT....

PLEASE ADVISE TIMING AND PRVATE TUTORING....

Hello:

Thanks for your question--in the future, can you please turn off your CAPS lock? This is usually interpreted as yelling in online forums...

With regard to timing, I recommend that you check out this post on the GMAT practice grid. There is some good tips there for helping you understand the pace of the test. Also, take time to study the strategies available on the GMAT Blog and the GMAT Wiki.

With regard to private tutoring--I encourage you to check out Manhattan GMAT. Members have said great things about MGMAT's private tutors--plus, as a Beat The GMAT member you are entitled to a [https://www.beatthegmat.com/discounts.html]10% discount[/url].

Good luck!
