Has anyone on the board ever received testing Accomidations for the GMAT? I ask because I have tried to get them, and have been required to send in information that I don't think even exists. I have emailed the GMAC and they are very slow to return my emails.
I have ADHD, and testing anxiety. When I get into a test I can't focus so my mind goes on a walk about when it should be working. When I sent the GMAC the letters that I received from the doctors office as well as paperwork from my undergrad testing center (both stating that I need Accomidations when testing), I was told that even more information would be needed. SAT scores, undergrad grades, etc. etc. I have rounded up all of that paperwork, but they want me to see another doctor to be tested again.
I took the CPA and was able to get Accomidations without a problem (for those who aren't aware, the CPA is one of the harder tests to pass). Would sending the GMAC the letter that I received from the AICPA work to my benefit, and be the silver bullet? I could really use the accomidations as I have now taken the test twice and my score went from 620 the first time, to 470 the second time.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
