GMAC is secretive about the exact algorithm for combining verbal and math scores, but there's a pretty decent score calculator at https://www.800score.com/score2.php. It's not 100% accurate (I've punched in results from my students' real GMAT tests, and the calculator is often off by 10-20 points), but it should give you a general idea. The calculator says that your 40Q/35V would come out to a 620.

I found a posting of Manhattan's scoring rubric here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/score-calculator-83937.html. According to this one, you're looking at a 600. So it's probably safe to say that the score you mentioned would be somewhere in the low 600s.
