Math Help/Advice

by meldog021 » Mon Jul 06, 2009 9:55 am
So I have a plan to do 10 math questions a day and this will get my thru the entire math section of the OG 12th and the OG quant book. As of right now I am really struggling with the math section of this test. To past test takers or people that are really good at math do you guys feel that if I know how to do every problem backwards and forewards that by the time I take the actual GMAT I will do fairly decent on that section of the test??

Please give feedback and advice... I really need a math confidence booster... Please advise =)

Thanks,

Melanie

Knowing the OG questions back and forward is the bare minimum. More importantly, you need to really understand the underlying concepts of the math. Try to do 10 problems/day that focus on one concept, ie 10 word problems a day. I have categorized the questions on the OG into different concepts. PM me if you want the list.
