I think the ans should be A. In b, c, d "Them" could refer to either clothing or intuits - while in A it is clearly Inuits (as it should IMO).

What is OA?

correct idiom -impervious to
winter clothing singular noun
Innuits Plural noun
C correctly distinguishing between 'it' and 'them' i.e. no ambiguity.
'it' makes 'them'-Cloth makes Innuits impervious to.
what is OA?

IMO D.

A = clothing...are = subject verb mismatch.
B = clothing...are = subject verb mismatch.
C = no logical noun referent for it....

Also another not so important issue that I think may be the reason is that their refers to innuits....which is present in the which(not necessary information clause)...innuits should be present in the main part of the clause....

Please correct if my reasoning to kick out C based on their is wrong...

D = correct....

E = inconsistent verb sequence....has....made....should be make...

D has to be the answer. The other singular option (starting with 'is') is vague. The 'them' in the other option could refer to the igloos or the inuits.

out of C and D, in my opinion its C.
i think 'It' clearly refers to the winter clothing and the idiom So X that Y is also correct here..

IMO so as together is wrong...

there are couple of idioms in GMAT in which so X as to Y is correct...

Thanks you are correct. So as together is wrong and the idiom you have mentioned is the correct one.

Just wanted to double check.
