GMAT prep. books

by asquare412 » Sun Mar 24, 2013 12:56 am
Hello everyone,

I have given gmat once without any good preparation last year(old format) as i fell ill that time. now i am very serious about the preparation, and have already started a fresh.
I have a doubt...i plan to start and use kaplan premier and kaplan 800 first as my concepts seems to be ok at a few places. and then when i finish my course in the next few months with kaplan, i plan to do exercises from GMACs OG.

I am also using RED book given to me by Jamboree institution in Delhi, they teach GMAT course here, which I had joined last year.and will start giving mock tests within a month. i plan to appear for GMAT in mid July.

is this strategy fine? do i need to use some other book as well?
any other suggestions??

Thanks all...

That is a good place to start. Maybe pick up the Quant Review Edition 2 and the Verbal review, edition 2. Take a practice exam after working through all of that and then see where you are at. I can offer some advice on how to proceed then if you ping me...
