I do not have the answer for this question. But I am confused between a & b. Pls share ur ans.

I would go for D

I think its the case of Idiom Claim.. to

The only option is D
Its better to burn out than to fade away

But shouldn't 'to be able to assess, from a one-page writing sample,' be more appropriate?
