Which school to attend?

I'm wondering if the best school makes the most sense financially.

I have offers from:

Tepper w/ 20,000/year
Kelley w/ 50% tuition
Smith w/ 75% tuition

Tepper is highest ranked but would mean the most debt. Is the reputation worth the cost or can I get the same experience with less debt from Smith?

It depends on what you are trying to study. What field/career are you trying to go into?

What career are you interested in studying, your decisions should really be balanced. The money or rankings aspect should not be the only factor. It is important to identify the schools that will best position you to reach your goals then triaging that with the financial component of the decisions. Money should play a role but let's make sure you are not making a short-sighted decision because of the money which would be going with a worse program fit and not being able to reach your goals but paying less. The money in this scenario would probably net out negatively.

Hey there!

Congrats on all of the acceptances + scholarships! Agree with the comments above that your goals should primarily influence where you end up, but be sure to also consider fit. Based on the conversations you've had with alumni, AdCom, and current students as well as the impression you got from your school visits, think about where you fit in the best.
