gmat strategy help

by sudi760mba » Fri Sep 05, 2008 1:33 pm
After almost 4 months of studying every possible gmat resource including og11, og10, mgmat SC I scored an abysmal 530 on the gmat prep and 550 on the kaplan cd...I've got work to do but honestly don't know how to start.

Surprisingly, I thought had verbal nailed but I did really poorly, worse than the quant. If I recall correctly I had q33 and 23v from the gmat prep. I struggle with DS and RC. With a month to go to my gmat, I'm not sure how I'm going to tackle this so I'm asking for any guidance on where to go from here. I know I can do really well and hit the 700 mark but getting there is the issue.

I thought of studying for 2-3 hours every day on the concepts, reading every explanation in the og 11 and taking exams 2-3 times a week and analyzing all my wrong answers.

other strategies are most welcome.

Thanks!

I would try working with a tutor if you can. You may need some help pinpointing just where you're going wrong.
