Fine Tuning Prep

I'm studying to take the GMAT again, with a score goal of 750. As far as content and timing go, I have no problems. Also, test anxiety is a non-issue. My problem, though, is attention to detail - not answering the question asked or misreading the question. Kicker is that I go back and re-read the question and check my answer, the keep going. I figure that I can just do a lot of problems until I work this out, but curious to know if anybody has any suggestions. This happens moreso in the quant than the verbal. Recommendations?

wishin u all the best.. me also one of those who is aiming for 760+ score in gmat. can you upload any of the practise material like OG-11 at esnips or similar places so that GMAT prep fraternity can be thankful to you.

When I was prepping for the GMAT, I had the same problem that you currently have. I felt fine in terms of concepts, timing, and nerves, but I seemed to be making errors due to not reading details correctly.

Your attention to detail problems may likely be due to your pace. In 90% of these cases, people are pacing themselves too quickly and are missing critical details on certain questions as a result.

My advice is to try slowing down down your pace. You may not feel like you need to, but just try it. This may be the simple solution to your problems.
