put all this garbage aside...that quote could make a lot of sense to some people and little sense to many people. but instead of wondering if it pertains to you, pick up some books that actually mean something to you, GMAT books!!! i suggest the "princeton review guide for cracking the gmat" and also the 'OG Guides". these books will tell you the only geometry that is relevant for you on test day. don't try to retain useless info that will not pertain to you on test day, remember the GMAT is only a test about the gmat, and nothing else. that stuff you heard from that book, put it aside and focus on the stuff that matters!! these books suggested will make it much simpler for you, i promise!

Hi!

At the moment, I use "Conquering GMAT Math", McCgraw-Hill's. There are actually many GMAT Math parctice tests, and also some basic things one should know before taking that practice tests - I think I got the purpose of these question at the beginning of the book. I will take the "Princetone review guide for cracking the gmat". I already have official guides, except the quantitative review quide, I hope to find it soon.
