How to study for GMAT

All:

I have studied for the GMAT for the past month using OG 11th edition. I am scheduled to take the GMAT in September. I would like to study with minimal books as the budget is tight. Which do you suggest? Also, I took the practice MBA.com exam and got a 480. Any useful tips? I feel like I don't know how to study for this thing. I would like a 600 but would settle for 550 - 600. Please help.
