Please Evaluate and Advise

So, I just took the GMAT and did really well and now my options for choice of mba program have vastly improved. I would really appreciate it if you evaluated my chances at getting into a top program like Yale, Columbia, Wharton or Harvard. I would also like to get more information about your consulting services and how you could help me tailor my application.

About me:

GMAT Score 750
Quant Scaled 47
Verbal Scaled 47

Undergrad GPA 3.2 (UMass Amherst)
Graduate JD from Pace Law School (GPA was 3.0)

I was a practicing attorney in NY but I left my firm 8 months ago to take a leading role in a startup company that has long term contracts for a partnership with Hertz Rent A Car and Nickelodeon.

Basically, I feel like my gmat score is really good, but my undergrad gpa and the fact that the undergrad school's werent that impressive in title will prevent me from getting into a top 10 school.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Also, I forgot to mention that I was a journalism/legal studies double major in college.

Thanks

You are right - your GMAT score is really good! Congratulations. Your company sounds interesting, but you will have to explain more about what you are doing for the company. Your GPA is a bit low but not a "deal breaker". Your challenge could be explaining the career transition, and why an MBA fits into your plans. Emphasizing leadership both in and out of workw ill be critical. That may be difficult with your legal career - but maybe not! Good luck to you!
