crack gmat

Hello to all,

This is my second attempt to GMAT, first i got horrible 420. I panicked, anxiety of Gmat exam, poor time management, lack of practise test (just did gmatprep over and over again). I have booked my date for GMAT 20th Oct' 2011. Yes I know I hardly have 20 days to prep, I have been studying for 3 months now. My practise test scores are in 550 - 570 range just like my first attempt. I'm not able to break down in 40's for Quant and Verbal score is always in 25 -29 range.

Quant- My concepts are clear, but sometimes I get bogged down by question and fail to understand the question well, later to realise that it was easy question, just language of question kills me. Also, I make silly calculation error which does cost me. I believe I haven't learned from my mistakes. I'm sick and tired of getting a score in 550 - 590 range. I practised Veritas Prep (570), Princeton (600), Platinum GMAT (570). I get on a average 10 - 14 questions incorrect for quant.

Verbal - I believe a 26 in Verbal means, I need to work on all 3 dept. RC, SC & CR. Recently, I have increased my accuracy rate but, I get incorrect answers too frequently, after 4 - 5 question 1 or 2 wrong. I got completely blacked out for SC during my first GMAT test. I have also solved Aristole CR 100 questions, of which I get on a average 70 to 80% correct. My RC is poor 7/14. SC I haven't been consistent.

Please advise me on my study plan I cannot afford to freak out with GMAT as I have had no social life since last 1 yr now. Getting into a good b-school is my only dream, cannot think of anything else apart from it. I don't wanna get break down because of GMAT.

Thanks,
Priyal
