I applied... haven't heard about interviews yet though.

710 GMAT, Q48... 3.0 GPA in biochemistry... interesting work background and decent references. I am not sure how borderline I am. Good enough for an alumni interview I would think, however.

Anyway, my parents moved to NC, so it'll be close to them... lots of study abroad... strong finance curriculum. I would be happy if I got into Fuqua.

Prior to your interview, be sure to review Fuqua in the News https://www.fuqua.duke.edu/news_events/ so you can speak intelligently about recent events involving the school, students, or faculty.

How do you know the deadline for alumni interview notifications is the 13th? The online application requests that alumni interviews be completed by 2/9/09. I wonder if they are backed up with apps?

If it is actually the 13th, that's good news. I was starting to lose hope.

Anyone hear about an interview??

Supposedly the deadline is this weekend. I figured that since they have a history of interviewing a lot of applicants, I wouldn't have a problem with that, since my profile is competitive. However, I'm starting to resolve myself to my backup school.

Online interviews are another useful resource as you prepare to apply to Fuqua specifically those with Liz Riley Hargrove, Associate Dean for Admissions ([email protected]). Just google her and you should find loads of useful info.

Well, no word yet. I guess that's a ding.

I figured that since they interview a majority of their applicants, and I have a competitive profile compared to their norms, I wouldn't have a problem getting an interview. Must be an extra competitive field this year.

I'm an R3 candidate

Hey I applied for R3.

Are you? I know R3 is the toughest, but I read somewhere (I Think accepted.com) that DUke still has slots.

About me: 710 GMAT, 3.8 UG GPA from a crappy school.

Looking forward to April 23. Good luck!
