What is the best way to approach SC questions? Which is the best book? Also, do you need to memorize all the idioms listed in MGMAT?

In general the best way to approach SC questions is to find splits in the answer choices. They talk about splits at the beginning of the MGMAT book (I assume that you have it since you've asked a question about it- I thought it was a pretty good book).

Is English your native tongue? If it is, it might not be worth memorizing all the idioms since you have a lot of them already in your head. Also, it's better to learn all of the SC rules before trying to memorize all of the idioms since the rules are going to give you more bang for your.. time. Do memorize the most common idioms though.

Undoubtedly yes! Also, make sure that you go through Ron's posts in MGMAT/BTG forum to get valuable takeaways.

It's the main book that I used. However, the more you can pick up the better so keep your eyes open for other information from the forums. Also note that the 4th edition for the MGMAT is a big step up from the 2007 edition.
