I miss a lot of problems due to lack of focus (overlooking minor but important details) rather than due to not understanding concepts. Are there any resources/exercises/games that can sharpen one's focus, and improve one's memory for the test?

As odd as it may sound, a professor actually recommended this to me in an old class: eat foods high in potassium like bananas, cantaloupe, and raisins. At the same time make sure you don't deplete any of your body's own natural potassium by eating foods high in sodium (salts) as sodium breaks down potassium. Potassium is not only good for your health, it is what strengthens your memory. However, if you study with bananas make sure during test day you have a banana because your mind will be conditioned to you eating one while studying.
Good luck!
