How to beat the Gmat ?

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum. I am planning to take up the Gmat in a couple of months.
I am currently employed in cts and I work in shifts.
After going through a few forums, I decided to take up the Gmat Prep Test to see where I stand.
To my dismay, I ended up scoring a 420 in it (Q-31, V-17). I find DS, SC and CR very challenging.
I am planning to join a Gmat Coaching Class - Preferably CrackVerbal or Princeton. (Please share your feedback on this)
With respect to the materials, I have bought the Official Guide 13th Edition, Manhattan Gmat SC and Kaplan 800.
Any advise and guidance on how to get started with the preparation would be of great help to me...

One thing I would say before entering any program is look at the qualifications for the teachers... They are different at many places and you will want experienced instructors.

Thanks Jim.. A valid point indeed, I have only been reading a lot about the CrackVerbal and Princeton Coaching Centers, CrackVerbal is offering free workshops to get the feel of how the coaching standards are.. Maybe a direct visit would help me understand :)
I just felt that a coaching class would get me in line before I start preparing for the Gmat..
