Best Tools to Raise Score on Quantitative Sections?

I am looking to take the GMAT again so I can go back and get my PhD in Management. I took it initally in 2006 without any prep and although my score was only 430, I was still able to get into an MBA program and graduate with a good GPA (3.73). Id really like to pursue my PhD so I can teach, but I am very scared of the math in the GRE. My math skills are very poor as I didnt really learn them well the 1st time. My verbal was 94% percentile, I got a 6 on the essays, while math was in the 9% last time (awful, I know). Id really like to be able to score over a 650 to get into a good program. What tools do you guys recommend so I can actually learn the math and then practice as well? I am planning to get the GMAC GMAT Review, Quantitative Review and the Kaplan Premier CD Rom. I have gone through the ARCO GRE/GMAT math review already. Id like to take the test in about 2 months. Is this doable? What can I do to pull up that Quantitative score?

Sorry to be presumptuous but I think you are giving up too easily :)

My suggestion is to sit with the Official Guide and go through the list of formula on the beginning of the book. Second start solving the questions starting from the 1st one (the questions are progressively harder). Once you are mid-way you will start understanding what is needed on the GMAT. This should take no more than 1 week or so.

Next week pick up any guide such as the MGMAT strategy guide and start working through the "strategy" of getting the answers at a 600+ level correct. Another 2-3 week of this along with practicing the remaining questions from the Official Guide (recommend you by the quantitative supplement as well).

In a month you should be good to go. Even after this point if you face any issues my suggestion is to work with a personal tutor just to iron out the problem areas.
