Hi all,
I was just hoping to get an idea on whether or not I actually have a shot at getting into my top school choices this fall.
Undergrad: University of Chicago, Econ - 3.0
GMAT: 720 (Q47, V42, AWA 6) My quant score is definitely lower than I had hoped for
Work Experience: Started off in property management at a small firm in Chicago and have been promoted 4 times in the 2 years, currently run the accounting department for our Chicago operations and have one person who reports to me
Other: Did a lot of Model UN in college and also was involved in a consulting extracurricular working with non-profits.
I want to make the move to management consulting after an MBA.
I plan on applying to:
Booth
Wharton
NYU
UCLA
Ohio State
This seemed like a solid variety of top tier, second tier and OSU as a safety (although the fact that it is a really small program worries me a bit, I feel like admissions can always be a bit more random)
Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to offer. Looking forward for schools to start posting their 2013 apps!
