Hi alanforde800Maximus,

This question can be solved by TESTing VALUES. I'm going to work through the first couple of steps, so that you can compete the question on your own.

We're told that the price of a diamond DOUBLES for every .5 karats.

IF....
0.5 karats = $1
1 karat = $2
1.5 karats = $4
2 karats = $8
Etc.

Can you then calculate which of the 5 answers ends up having the highest value...?
